Scholarships for Injury Risk Identification at Macquarie University in Australia 2021-2022

Scholarships are available from Macquarie University in Australia for load tracking and identifying soldiers who are at risk of injury during the 2021–2022 academic year.

The project will measure and classify the physical and physiological strain placed on army employees during project loads of activities relevant to the army.

The project will place a strong emphasis on the use of development and advanced evaluation methodologies to learn more about physical performance and musculoskeletal injuries. Another way to be aware of the studies is to understand the differences between the responses of men and women.

The main goal of the project is to choose field-expedient measures to input into a machine learning model that could indicate injury risk and performance attributes of military personnel.

Working on this project are military groups and international partners.

Exercise science and/or sports science are pertinent academic fields for this project.

Value of Award

The scholarship consists of a living allowance stipend and a tuition fee offset.

The scholarship’s cost and duration include a “MQRES” full-time stipend price of $28,597 a year (in 2021 tax-exempt for up to four years – mentioned annually) and a top-up scholarship from VALD Performance of $15,000 per year in addition to the MQRES stipend price.


Candidates are expected to have a record of high academic achievement and, preferably, additional related study interests and/or peer-reviewed study interests in accordance with the University’s scholarship scoring standards in order to be considered for a scholarship.

How To Apply

The OnlineHDR Candidature and Scholarship Application must be completed by new applicants to Macquarie University, and they should arrange for two academic referee reviews to be sent to the Higher Degree Research Office.
